  • Can all members who buy fuel and oil to use in the boats when on a club trip please make sure they get a receipt showing how many liters were bought. The club can claim money back with this information.
  • Please Remember that after the boats are used for diving or boat trips they must be washed down afterwards. The best way to do this is to use a jet wash on the return trip back to the club house. Once back at the club house the engines must be run through with fresh water. This will stop salt from building up inside the cooling system and causing corrosion and blocking water ways. Remove the engine covers to allow any moisture to escape (poss spray engine with WD40).
Do also remember that the depth sounders, compasses, GPS and any hand held device unit that may come into contact with salt water must be cleaned.
We will prepare a check list to go on the wall and plan our boat awareness night.
Cozz if we don't look after the boats the EO gets very upset and they will let you down when you need them.
  • Will and Charles are Managing the first May Bank hol trip. They have booked Eastcreech camp site. The club also uses Sandyholme caravan park.
  • For those going on the first Furious trip who have not paid up yet please do so as Colin H is getting agitated. And you know what thats like.

  • We are collecting materials to make rafts for this years raft race, So if you have something that we can use lets have it.
